E-Commerce Development
Storefronts are easy to demo and hard to run. The difficulty is never the product grid. It is the refund on a partially shipped order, the stock count during a flash sale, and the payment that succeeded while the webhook did not.

What you getWhat the work actually includes
A storefront that converts
Fast product and category pages, server-rendered and indexable, with search and filtering that hold up against a real catalogue.
Checkout that does not lose orders
Guest checkout, saved carts, address validation, and payment retries, with the abandonment path instrumented rather than assumed.
Payments and webhooks
Stripe, PayPal, or local providers, with idempotent webhook handling so a retried callback never charges twice or ships twice.
Stock and fulfilment
Inventory that reconciles, reservation during checkout, and integration with your warehouse or 3PL rather than a spreadsheet.
Everything after the sale
Order tracking, returns, refunds including partial ones, and the transactional emails that go with each of them.
SEO for product and category pages
Server-rendered listings with structured data for price, availability, and reviews, so product pages are actually eligible for rich results rather than a generic snippet.
Marketing and analytics wired in
Conversion tracking, ad platform pixels, and abandoned-cart email, connected to real checkout events rather than page views that miss most of the funnel.

QuestionsE-Commerce, answered plainly
Shopify or custom?
Shopify if you sell fairly standard products and want the ecosystem. Custom when your pricing, bundling, or fulfilment does not fit the platform and you spend your time fighting it. We build both and will tell you which case you are.
Can you handle multi-currency and tax?
Yes. Currency, regional pricing, and tax calculation through a provider such as Stripe Tax, rather than a hand-rolled rate table that goes stale the first time a jurisdiction changes something.
What about migrating an existing store?
Products, customers, and order history migrate, and so do the URLs. We map old paths to new ones with 301 redirects, because a replatform that drops its URLs also drops its rankings.
Can you build subscription or recurring-order stores?
Yes. Recurring billing on a schedule the customer controls, pause and skip handling, and failed-payment retries with dunning, wired to Stripe Billing or a subscription-commerce platform depending on how much of the logic you need to own.
Can you integrate with our existing ERP or inventory system?
Usually yes. Most ERPs expose an API or at minimum a scheduled export, and we sync stock levels, orders, and customer records against it rather than treating the storefront as a second source of truth that quietly drifts out of sync.
Related workWhat else we build
Most projects need more than one of these, and they are usually cheaper together than sequenced apart.
